Founded in 2020, Dreams in Motion is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit that focuses on people who have gone through life altering experiences, whether that be a kidney transplant, heart surgery, cancer or any other hard experience and have been able to overcome their challenges. Dreams in Motion provides these individuals with a first-class experience at a college or professional sporting event. Their most recent Hero that they have recognized was Justin Mamea, a Senior at Uintah High School. He has been dealing with two forms of Leukemia. Dreams in Motion was able to get Justin, his father and his uncles to the Utah Football game, where Utah knocked off Number 7 USC. They provided hotel accommodations and 4 tickets to the game.
When Joel is not volunteering or working, you will find him up on the mountain ice fishing, camping, or exploring the great outdoors. He loves spending time with his wife Missy and their 3 boys.
The Public Relations Committee of the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the Quarterly Outstanding Public Service Award to Joel Brown for his many and varied contributions to our community.
