Grand Valley Bank got its modest beginning in 1983 in a small, modular building on North Seventh Street, in Grand Junction, CO. Since then they have grown from that single office in 1983 to 9 offices covering 2 states. In September of 2005 Grand Valley Bank Vernal open its doors to the community. They have now been in Vernal for 15 years! Grand Valley Bank prides itself on being a community bank where all of the money stays local.
The bank's success can be attributed to its conservative philosophy and its personal approach to its customers. New customers have been attracted because people like to do business at friendly institutions where they are known. Also, the bank's officers are most often long-time residents of the community they serve and know many of the local residents. The bank is locally, employee owned, so the officers and employees know the needs of the people in their community. Grand Valley Bank employees are involved in many local events, groups and charities some of which are Dinah-Mites, Trees for Charity, INHA, Planning and Zoning, UBAOG, scouts, and coaching youth sports to name just a few. Grand Valley Bank would not be here today without its amazing customers.
The Public Relations Committee of the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present September Business of the Month to Grand Valley Bank of Vernal for their commitment to and support of our community.
