Founded in 1951, Wheeler Machinery Co. is a locally owned and operated Cat dealer. Providing repair and maintenance services, parts, rental, financing, consulting and training along with technology solutions, Wheeler is an innovative partner and a champion for its customers' success. Wheeler has forged many long-lasting relationships with Utah's key players who build infrastructure, homes, schools and parks as well as provide prime and standby power for Utah's ski resorts, hospitals and data centers, and provides the equipment to extract natural resources crucial to our everyday lives.
Wheeler has been proudly serving the Uintah Basin and supporting its oil and gas industry since 1974 when it opened a branch in Vernal with six (6) employees and 2 bays. Vernal was the first Wheeler facility outside of Salt Lake City. Currently Wheeler Machinery has 29 employees with an 18 bay facility located at 1345 South on East on Highway 40.
Actively involved in the community Wheeler is a big supporter of the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo providing not only equipment support but man power and Mike Karren as President of the Rodeo Committee. They support 4 charity golf tournaments each year, the Elks Lodge 4th of July fireworks, Jensen Pumpkin Festival, the Holly Days Festival and many other local community events and charities.
The Public Relations Committee of the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present Business of the Month to Wheeler Machinery for their long time commitment and contribution to the community.
