Basin Clinic was founded by Dr. Paul Stringham in 1962. From the beginning it has been a family practice clinic that provides a wide array of medical care.
Dr. Karl Breitenbach joined Dr. Stringham at Basin Medical clinic in 1987. After Dr. Stringham retired the clinic continued to grow adding Dr. Rodney Anderson in 1992. Dr. Kirk Woodward in 2002. Dr Mike Olsen in 2003.
In 2002 it was determine the clinic was becoming crowded and need more space. 8 Acres of land was purchased at 379 North 500 West and partnering with Jerry Larson the current facility was built.
The Doctors are all board certified Family Physicians - a certification that means they keep up with current medical education and pass national board exams every 7 years.
Basin Clinic began an urgent care practice which is available to patients who can't get an appointment as quickly as they need or who prefer not to schedule an appointment.
They employ 3 nurse practitioners and 3 physician assistants, 35 full time employees and many part time employees.
The Doctors at Basin Clinic feel privileged to have earned the trust of many residents of the Uintah Basin and surrounding areas and perform around 62,000 office visits per year.
The Basin Clinic supports many community activities and events and is continually seeking to improve and provide expanded services to our area.
