Kam Pope

Kam Pope was presented the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Public Service Award Monday during the Chamber Public Relations Committee meeting held at the 7-11 Restaurant in Vernal. Pope was selected because of his years of devotion and service to our youth by serving for 13 years as Vernal Youth Baseball Coach, 8 years as on the Vernal Youth Baseball Association Board and as President. Kam and his wife Jennifer are the parents of three boys Kenten, Karter, and Korbet. The Pope family can be found most summer evenings at the ball park either in a baseball dug out or working over the ballpark concession grill. Kam’s service to our youth goes beyond baseball and into the board room. Kam currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Uintah Recreation District and a the Boy Scouts.
For Kam's many contributions and continued involvement in our community, the Public Relations Committee of the Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present Kam Pope the Quarterly Outstanding Public Service Award.
Quarterly Outstanding Public Service Award - Presented on a quarterly basis to an individual or individuals who participates and contributes outstanding service to the chamber and the community. Must be a member of the Chamber. Certificate is presented at a regular chamber meeting with an article and picture in the newspaper.
